Imagine that you were given an extra day. A whole 24 hours with which, or in which, to do whatever you chose....
The reality of Wednesday, 29 February, 2012 may be a little different. Most of us still have to work, still have a list of tasks to deliver and expectations to meet.
But within all of that busyness, could you find a little extra time, or even just a different focus? What would you choose? Perhaps there is something you've been putting off doing. How might you grasp the nettle tomorrow and take the 1st step?
What if this extra day represented space or time for you to think. How might you take time out to review where you are in your life? Perhaps you might use this day to focus on something you really want to achieve. All of our days are numbered, but the number of leap days left to each of us is slim. If you were making the very most out of each and every day, how would you be living your life?
On this day for 'leaping', what courageous step might you take? What leap of faith, out of your comfort zone, over an edge, might you be emboldened to take?
And of course, traditionally, leap day is the one day in every 4 years that a woman can propose. If you could say something only once in a blue moon to the people you love, what would it be?
I encourage you to choose well, and use this leap day to do yourself differently.
